New LA Galaxy signing Zlatan Ibrahimovic completed his first day of training Friday, smiling and looking comfortable in front of a throng of international media.
Shortly after 10 a.m. on a bright morning at the StubHub Center, the 36-year old made the short journey from the front office entrance to the training pitch.

Here’s #zLAtan doing his first finishing drill as a member of @LAGalaxy. Even his misses are spectacular. #LAvLAFC pic.twitter.com/ssva4BvEla

As the lion smelled the grass for the first time, did we learn anything? Zlatan was in good spirits, looking comfortable if slightly sluggish, undoubtedly from the effects of a long flight and little rest.
Later in the day during the press conference (WATCH HERE), Ibra repeatedly mentioned a desire to take things step by step. If there was this idea that Zlatan would show up and try to force his way into the starting lineup...nope. The former Manchester United striker is a football first and foremost, appearing resigned to his current position as a out-of-form striker who needs to ease his way into the lineup. Bet on a substitute appearance tomorrow.
