Soccer is fun. Also fun: The #ElTrafico hashtag. “Named for the city’s snarled freeways” as the Guardian put it, the whimsical nickname created by the fans to describe the LA Galaxy LAFC rivalry quickly took off like wildfire across social media.
And after Zlatan Ibrahimovic put Major League Soccer on the map in the most stylish matter imaginable, the name has become synonymous with an instant classic we at LAG Confidential are declaring the greatest game in MLS history.
Of course, one of the benefits of Saturday’s epic blockbuster was watching traditional media outlets stumble mightily in an attempt to accurate describe the scene.

Perhaps if these outlets covered the LA Galaxy more regularly, they wouldn’t leave themselves vulnerable to silly mistakes.
