Following a dramatic 2-1 victory over Ghana on Monday, this Sunday the United States kick off their second match in Group G against Portugal deep in the Amazon. The match kicks off at 3pm Pacific and will be broadcast on ESPN and Univision. The US are current second in Group G, behind Germany on goal differential.

The win against Portugal was the first opening match winner for the United States since the 2002 World Cup when the US were able to stun Portugal 3-2. With Jozy Altidore out that leaves Clint Dempsey, Chris Wondolowski, and Aron Johannsson as the forward options for the Yanks.

Germany will face Ghana on Saturday, so the US will know whether they can qualify for the knockout stages with a win against Portugal before kickoff.

The LA Galaxy are hosting an exclusive viewing party for the match against Portugal at Lot 613 in downtown Los Angeles. The event will last from 1pm to 6pm, with all proceeds of the event going to the LA Galaxy foundation.

The Galaxy also announced they will host another outdoor viewing party at the Hermosa Beach pier for USA vs Germany next Thursday. That match has a morning kickoff and the event is free to the public.
