After their fabulous 2-1 victory over Ghana on Monday, the United States were given a much deserved day off today. Let's round up some of the twitter reactions from the national team afterward.

Hopefully he'll be available again for the US later in the World Cup, but it doesn't appear too likely he'll be available on Sunday. Hamstrings are tricky business. Vice President Joe Biden was on site and visited the locker room after the match, Tim Howard tweeted out this fun pick today.

It was the most watched soccer match ever broadcast on ESPN, which shows how much the sport is growing as ESPN seems to break that record each time out. Clint Dempsey is the first player for the US to score in there World Cups, while John Brooks was the first sub to score for the US. As it was also the first time the United States managed to beat Ghana in three tries, one can say it was a match full of firsts.
