The LA Galaxy announced Friday their preseason game schedule ahead of the 2021 campaign.
While we knew of some of these games already, these are straight from the, uh, club’s mouth so here’s what’s on tap:
- Saturday, Mar. 20: vs. San Diego Loyal, 12 pm PT
- Saturday, Mar. 27: vs. New England Revolution, 7 pm PT, Spectrum SportsNet
- Wednesday, Mar. 31: vs. New England Revolution, 7 pm PT, streamed on LAGalaxy.com
- Saturday, Apr. 3: vs. Sporting Kansas City, 12 pm PT
- Wednesday, Apr. 7: vs. Colorado Rapids, 3 pm PT
- Saturday, Apr. 10: vs. Real Salt Lake, 5 pm PT, streamed on LAGalaxy.com
The first three games will take place at the Dignity Health Sports Park complex, and the last three will take place in Tucson, Arizona as part of the 2021 Visit Tucson Sun Cup preseason tournament. As you can see, three of the games will be streamed or aired on TV, while the games against Sporting and Colorado will probably also be streamed but TBD on details of that.
There’s always a possibility that the Galaxy could add more preseason games along the way, but with the pandemic still happening, I bet this will probably be it for health and safety reasons. If that changes we’ll let you know.
