It’s been a few agonizing months but the wait is almost over. MLS is back!
After an topsy-turvy 2018 season which brought the highest of highs but tragically ended on the lowest of lows, Javier Valdecantos and the Schelotto twins have worked hard the past eight weeks implementing their ideas to mold a LA Galaxy team chomping at the bit to succeed this year.
A significant number of unknowns still face this squad, many of which will be addressed later in the week with our season preview. In the meantime the Galaxy organization have lined up a series of events this week to help fans pass the time.

That’s right. Happy #Since96 Week.
Today the club is participating in a social media blitz, while Tuesday the team are buying a round of beers for fans at EJ’s Pub, shortly followed by an Ola Kamara Sebastian Lletget appearance at Niki’s Sports in Long Beach while Romain Alessandrini greets supporters at their downtown LA location.
Wednesday is a mega flash football event in Hawthorne: A youth clinic, pick up soccer and a futsal tournament are on the cards with Juninho and other players serving as coaches. Thursday the club will light up the Santa Monica Pier in Galaxy colors and Friday a refurbished turf field will be unveiled complete with a multi-story mural, all culminating with the Beckham statue presentation at Legends Plaza.
LAG Confidential have a few giveaways in the works, so be on the lookout. We’ll also be at a number of events including the night before party at Biergarten. Hope you see you there!
