LA Galaxy II announced on Monday they have signed defender Josh Drack ahead of the 2021 USL Championship season.
The 21-year-old was the LA Galaxy’s first-round MLS SuperDraft selection in January and got a fair amount of playing time with the first team in preseason.
“Drack is a talented player who will bring versatility to the LA Galaxy II defense,” said LA Galaxy General Manager Dennis te Kloese in a team statement. “I am very pleased with the effort of our scouting that was done before the SuperDraft by everyone involved to identify and select Josh. We look forward to his immediate contribution with LA Galaxy II and are excited to see his professional growth within our organization.”

Drack, a native of Chandler, Arizona, played college soccer at the University of Denver and Grand Canyon University. An attacker in college, he is being converted to left back in the pros and looks set to play there for Los Dos.
Drack is the second Galaxy draft pick to sign with Los Dos, joining forward Preston Judd, who coincidentally played NCAA soccer with Drack at Denver. Los Dos will kick off their season Friday at Dignity Health Sports Park against Sacramento Republic FC.
