2005 LA Galaxy jersey voted best in club history

It was fairly close, but in the end, there was a winner in LAG Confidential’s best jersey in LA Galaxy history bracket competition. The winner was...the 2005 primary jersey.

In the final round of voting, done by you, the readers of this site, the 2005 primary won with 54% of the vote, over the 2014-15 primary jersey. Notably, both jerseys featured the sash, which should always be a trademark for the club as it’s one of the best default jersey designs, period.

One element that may have helped make the 2005 primary the most beloved jersey in Galaxy history is that LA won MLS Cup in them. Don’t get me wrong, I think aesthetically these absolutely merit the crown, but the title-winning glory probably helps everyone remember them that little bit more fondly.
