The sports are dark, which is an odd thing to ponder if you’re a fan. I’ve never experienced a full-scale shutdown like this for so long before. It’s just getting started.
But it had to happen to help stem the coronavirus outbreak, and hopefully it will be an effective measure. Will the LA Galaxy only be down around 30 days? Will it drag on a lot longer? We can’t predict the future, and that is a scary thing. One of the constants in our life was the sports calendar — the season has kicked off, now we know what we’re doing until October, and hopefully, another month beyond that.
For now, we don’t know how this will go. But what will we do here at LAG Confidential?

It will get creative over the coming weeks. There will be some writing about soccer, of course, and some writing about not-soccer, too. Please tell us what you want to see, can’t promise that PhD dissertation project would be feasible in 30 days, but suggestions are absolutely welcome.
The aim here is to provide a diversion during a weird and potentially difficult time, and to continue building a virtual community. That is a cornerstone goal of SB Nation, after all, and that’s what we aim to do. Please join us, let’s do our best to get through this together.
