Lineups:

Dominic Kinnear makes one change, bringing in Sacha Kljestan for an injured Jonathan dos Santos. Chicharito is on the bench.

Seattle make several changes to their usual group.

The LA Galaxy will look to keep their season alive, as they face the Seattle Sounders Wednesday in a win-or-you’re-out-of-the-playoffs scenario for the home side at Dignity Health Sports Park.

The Galaxy kept those hopes alive with a 2-1 win over Real Salt Lake at the weekend, and with one more game scheduled after this one, time is running out. The situation is simple: If LA win, they live to fight another day. If they cannot, they will be officially eliminated from playoff contention.

The Sounders have booked their ticket to the postseason and still have a chance of winning the Western Conference, but they will likely have to win their final two games to do that. They lost 3-1 to the Colorado Rapids on Sunday, and there’s a bit of worry that they may be getting worn out, possibly at the worst point in the season. Still, I expect they’ll be up for this, and they crushed the Galaxy last time out, so the pressure is really on LA to show they can be for real.

So buckle up, Dom Kinnear’s Galaxy get another chance to show some improvement and we’ll see if they come through in the moment.

Odds:

According to our friends at DraftKings Sportsbook, as of Wednesday morning, LA are (+230), the Sounders are (+104) and a draw is at (+270). So the Galaxy are underdogs at home for this one.

How to Watch:

Wednesday’s match between LA and Seattle will be televised nationally on UniMás and TUDN, which you can watch via FuboTV. It should also be streamed for free on Twitter. The broadcast is scheduled to start at 8 pm PT with kickoff to follow.
