At the beginning of the week, Guille drew a line in the sand.
“In two weeks the transfer window closes and we can do a deal until then. In the last few days we haven’t advanced past the offer that was made and we haven’t received a response” explained Schelotto. “But we’ll be working in the coming days to see if there’s a real possibility to do the deal or not. And we’ll surely determine that this week. If not, we’ll try to look for another path to look for another possibility beyond Cristian Pavon.”
Now Argentine journalist Claudio Civiello is reporting the LA Galaxy organization have significantly raised the offer to buy 100% of Pavon’s rights, though at the moment the exact number is still unknown.
Llego a Boca una nueva y última oferta por Pavon de LA Galaxy. Es por el 100 % del pase. Una parte cash y otra en cuotas. 48hs para contestar

There are reasons to be optimistic. Boca will probably fail to find a better deal for the talented winger anytime soon, and with the Buenos Aires giants already securing reinforcements Eduardo Salvio and Danielle De Rossi, they need the cash.
Let’s see if this new offer puts LA over the line.
Update: Multiple sources out of Argentina declared Pavon to LA a done deal, but Friday came and went without any additional updates. Now local journalist Martin Arevalo claims the Galaxy have made the unorthodox offer of $18 million plus two friendlies in the United States in exchange for his rights. Apparently Boca have until Monday to respond.
