Unofficially, it’s official. The informative Kevin Baxter at the Times is reporting the LA Galaxy organization will announce the hiring of former Chivas USA and El Tri executive Dennis de Kloese to run the club’s soccer operations.
The team declined to comment Thursday, but Te Kloese, who has already begun working with the Galaxy, is expected to meet with supporter groups on Monday ahead of a formal announcement of his hiring, which would be made early next week.
Though te Kloese has yet to formally depart his post with the FMF, the director is already hard at work behind the scenes, having been spotted multiple times at the StubHub Center.
Truth be told, te Kloese’s immediate involvement is a necessity. With the league’s notorious web of roster moves, drafts and other mechanisms to manuever in addition to securing Zlatan’s future and tackling other problems, te Kloese has his work cut out for him.
