Well, its looking like the beginning of the end for the Big Bald Beautiful Belgian.
Local outlet HLN is reporting a deal to bring Jelle Van Damme to Antwerp is all but certain to be completed. As to why the transfer hasn’t already taken place, the paper speculates LA are waiting to secure the services of Lorient center back Michael Ciani before selling the 33-year-old to Royal Antwerp for a transfer fee of 200,000 euros.
Apparently Van Damme wants to go home badly. Has already Bevin telling people around #LAGalaxy he's leaving

While Van Damme has enjoyed his time in Los Angeles, it was no secret Jelle missed his family back in Belgium, specifically his two kids. And when former manager Luciano D'Onofrio came swooping in with an offer Jelle couldn’t refuse, it was only a matter of time before the Galaxy captain departed.
It’s probably for the best. Van Damme was one of the top performers in the league last year, but his warrior spirit just hasn’t been there this season and its shown in his performances. Hopefully Jelle can find happiness back in Europe.
