Following last weekend’s comeback, Curt Onalfo wanted the LA Galaxy start matches like how they ended the one against the Fire.

They did just that in the opening minutes against the New York Red Bulls.

Romain Alessandrini scored two goals in the first 10 minutes of action, and the G’s looked more resolute as a united. His goals were scored one minute and 39 seconds apart.

The boys defended well, controlled possession during parts throughout the first 45 minutes, and capitalized on their chances.

Miss either of them? We have you covered!

Alessandrini’s first came off a free kick. Jelle Van Damme acted like he was going to get a touch on the delivery, distracting the New York Red Bulls goalkeeper Luis Robles. But the captain pulled his foot back and the ball nestled into the bottom left corner.

On the second goal, Alessandrini attempted a shot from well outside the box, but hit it hard. Robles managed to make a save, but the ball still spun into the net.

Let’s hope they continue to stay strong throughout the second half!
