I miss AJ. You miss him too, dammit.
We all do. Sure he may no longer be a member of the LA Galaxy, but you can’t help but root for him to succeed this year with the Houston Dynamo.
And succeed he has. In fact, AJ is basically writing the book on how to enamor yourself to a new fanbase. To give you an idea on just how much winning De La Garza has been up to, let’s recap his last week at pre-season training camp in Tucson.

A few days ago, FC Dallas got a little too cute on Twitter during their jersey launch celebration, and AJ wasn’t having it.

That's nice they finally put stars on your jerseys...#WelcomeToTheRivalry https://t.co/czk6W8aaB7

Boomshakala!
Then last night during Houston’s 3-1 friendly victory over New York City FC, this happened.
After video review, David Villa is sent off for slapping A.J. DeLaGarza in the face. Was shown yellow before the review.

Yo @AJD_20 adding Villa to the collection of "World class strikers" currently residing in your back pocket?

Bout it. https://t.co/ewBRoGbyLn
Oh look, now they’re lending him the Instagram account as well. Apparently, DeLaGarza is winning at light-speed. (Seeing Leonardo smiling under a hoodie is giving me the feels)
Keep on keeping on, AJ.
