Philadelphia Union vs. LA Galaxy 2016: Game time, TV schedule and live stream for MLS

Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

After seven straight games without a defeat, the LA Galaxy travel to Chester, Pennsylvania to take on the Philadelphia Union.

This hasn't been a season short on story-lines for the LA Galaxy. They started the season with an amplitude of injuries, but things have clicked and suddenly the team has embarked on a league-best seven game unbeaten run.

Of course, this isn't a coincidence. Depth was an integral part in building this team at the start of the season, and it has certainly played a role so far. Bruce Arena has done a good job at digging into this squad, and on Wednesday, it is expected he does the same in their second game in only four days

Meanwhile, the Union remain undefeated at home this season, and in stark contrast to their 2015 MLS campaign, they have shown to be abnormally tough to beat.

But it is just not momentum that is on the Galaxy's side, history is too. Only once has the Union been able to beat the Galaxy since joining MLS, and Union coach Jim Curtin has gone as far as to say they are the New England Patriots of MLS.

As road games go, it doesn't get any tougher than a midweek trip to the east coast. A positive result here for the Galaxy could go a long way towards the end of the season,
