After a disappointing last-minute defeat to the Colorado Rapids, the LA Galaxy play host to the very first California Clasico of the 2016 MLS season.
The Galaxy will be taking on a San Jose Earthquakes side that is a perfect two wins in two matches.
Bruce Arena's side should welcome the return of Ashley Cole to the starting lineup, but Dan Kennedy remains out and Giovani Dos Santos will likely sit out for a second game in a row.
The teams last met at a preseason game in Las Vegas, where the Galaxy earned a 1-0 victory through a Gyasi Zardes lone goal.
In total, the Earthquakes remain winless at Stubhub Center since 2013, but on paper, they arrive to this Clasico with the better record of the two. Sparks should fly in Carson.
Match date/time: Saturday 10:30pm EST, 7:30pm local
Venue: StubHub Center, Carson, California
TV: Time Warner Cable SportsNet, Time Warner Cable Deportes (Spanish)
Streaming: MLS Live (local blackout)
