If you thought fans who disagreed with Gio's move to MLS were upset before...
Speaking to reporters on Monday, Mexico interim manager Ricardo "Tuca" Feretti confirmed that LA Galaxy attacker and El Tri regular Giovani dos Santos will miss the much-anticipated clash between the United States and Mexico this Saturday as the teams battle for a valuable spot at the 2007 Confederations Cup in Russia.
According to Feretti, dos Santos suffered a muscle injury during the Galaxy's 1-1 draw vs. the Sounders last night.

Dos Santos was not much of a factor on Sunday, struggling to deal with the challenging, bumpy artificial surface at CenturyLink Field.
So...is this a controversy? A wake-up call for one of MLS' storied franchises to ditch the plastic? Or just an unfortunate injury on Gio's part? You decide.
