Contrary to some reports, I have not signed for LA Galaxy and I am still an Anderlecht player. Thanks for the continued support!

In terms of confirming or denying a report, that tweet by Sacha Kljestan is about as cut and dry as they come. However, the LA Galaxy are still holding a press conference the day after MLS' transfer deadline, so there's a guarantee that a new player signing is being announced today.
Hearing the new player the LA Galaxy will announce today is NOT Sacha Kljestan, and that it’s a much bigger name. Hmm...

That certainly ramps up things a bit. A bigger name that would require going through the allocation order is almost certainly someone involved in the 2014 World Cup, which Sacha Kljestan did not.
Sacha Kljestan's move to LA Galaxy fell apart yesterday. Could Galaxy convince Jermaine Jones to take discount and play in LA? #StayTuned

For a league that loves secrets, MLS is typically terrible at surprises. That it's the morning of the press conference and no national reporter has scooped the story yet is quite impressive on the part of the Galaxy.
I vote we dub this signing Mystery Bigger Name, or MBN for short.
Update: I'm starting to think Doug McIntyre is just making things up for fun.
I'm now told press conference called by Galaxy is concerning a player already on the team...
