Much of the concern this week leading up to LA Galaxy vs. Seattle Sounders has been on the availability of Galaxy stars Landon Donovan and A.J. DeLaGarza. Landon Donovan looks to be available while DeLaGarza has to hope for a postseason return after joining Robbie Rogers on the unavailable list. What wasn't expected was that Clint Dempsey would end up missing the match for the Sounders.
Clint Dempsey did not travel to L.A. and is OUT for today's game. He picked up a hamstring injury in practice late in the week.

MLS and NBC Sports may have been deprived over their Donovan vs. Dempsey prizefight, but the Galaxy will still have to shut down Eddie Johnson. Johnson's rise out of Florida project housing, burnout in England, and redemption was the lead story in this week's MLS Insider. However, anyone who watches US soccer knows that Johnson has been playing some top drawer soccer recently. Obafemi Martins who won player of the week and goal of the week last week will also prove dangerous.
The Sounders also have questionable players in Brad Evans (calf injury), Steve Zakuani (groin), and Marcus Hahnemann (knee).
Keep an eye out for the starting lineups to see who was able to get fit enough to make the cut.
