Juninho has top impact in Galaxy's draw with Sounders

Juninho turned in the top Match Impact Rating for the LA Galaxy in a 1-1 draw against the Seattle Sounders on Saturday. Juninho scored the only goal of the match for the Galaxy on this great dipping, bending free kick.

Juninho's goal came on his only shot of the match and pulled the Galaxy level with the Sounders just before halftime. Juninho also drew a foul in the match to finish with an MIR of 65.5. Hector Jimenez and Jose Villarreal both had solid matches but did not turn in anything special with MIRs of 34.9 and 32.8, respectively. Both players committed two fouls and drew three fouls in the match. Jimenez' rating was slightly higher because he played five fewer minutes.

Gyasi Zardes and Robbie Keane had minimal impacts in the match on offense. Both drew one foul and committed one foul. Keane did not register a shot in the match and finished with a MIR of 9.8 (the captain's ineffectiveness was noted the postmatch recap as well by an astute reader in the comments). Zardes took four shots (only one on target) to finish with a 10.3.
