Robbie Keane had another two point night when the LA Galaxy defeated FC Dallas on July 7. Keane had an assist on both Galaxy goals and drew two fouls as part of a team-leading Match Impact Rating performance of 79.8. Keane, who now leads MLS in assists (8), was far from the only noteworthy performer of the match.

Hector Jimenez scored the second goal of the match on Robbie Rogers' first assist in a Galaxy uniform in the 80th minute. Jimenez' goal came on his only shot of the match and he suffered a foul in the attacking half to boost his MIR to 70 for his 81 minutes of action. Rogers was very active in the match, taking six shots (two on target), committing two fouls and drawing three fouls to go along with the assist for a personal season-high MIR of 60.5.

Marcelo Sarvas continued his All-Star worthy form this season with the game-winning goal in the match. Sarvas also drew a foul but saw his MIR dragged down slightly to a 53.2 by committing three fouls. Sarvas now has three goals on the season, needing 11 fewer attempts to surpass his total of two in his first MLS season in 2012.

Omar Gonzalez was named to the MLS All-Star squad on Sunday and picked up his second assist of the season on the Sarvas goal. Gonzalez also took a shot and committed two fouls in turning in a MIR of 29.5.
