Three Star Daily, May 27th: Houston Rallies Past Galaxy To Collect Toll

Good afternoon Galaxy fans! Chad Barrett partnering up top with Edson Buddle resulted in good spacing and an early goal, but an inability to hold the ball and control the pace of the game let Houston back into the match and they went on to win 2-1. Tally Hall only had to make two saves, both on shots taken from outside the box, but his position on plays like the on depicted in the lead photo kept Houston in position to make their run.

The headlines from this morning seem to reflect that reality. While the LA Times went just the facts, both the Houston Chronicle and ESPN.com reflect the Galaxy get out in front and Houston rallying (perhaps aided by the sun) to come back.

Andre Hainault's goal in the 57th minute gave the Houston Dynamo a 2-1 victory over David Beckham and the L.A. Galaxy on Saturday.

The Dynamo took advantage of an own-goal to tie the score before Hainault scored in the 57th minute to beat the spiraling defending champion Galaxy, who have lost five of their last six and are on a seven-game winless streak since April 21.

Everything is beating up on the Galaxy these days, and it was the heat's turn Saturday afternoon. L.A. wilted in the Houston humidity and watched
