Jelle Van Damme still repping the G’s

“What he is thinking?” I ask myself as Random Teammate of Jelle Van Damme approaches the Belgian footballer wearing that dumb hat.

This is Jelle Van Damme we’re talking about here. The 6’3” center back is already an imitating dude: When Van Damme signed with LA Galaxy, Jelle famously showed up to the introductory press conference wearing a black sweater with “I Bite” on the front. The swashbuckling defender also bleeds blue white and gold. During his short time with the club Van Damme quickly gained the affection of the LA Galaxy faithful for his hard-nosed aggressive play and attacking contributions.

Years after Van Damme returned to Belgium, the former Galaxy captain is still fiercely loyal to the club, often congratulating old teammates after victories and repping the colors with pride.

Which leads to, again, what were you thinking dude? Frankly he’s lucky Van Damme didn’t rip it in half on the spot.
