It's finally fall you guys. There's a chill in the air, it rained for the first time ever in Los Angeles, and the LA Galaxy find themselves facing Real Salt Lake in the MLS playoffs. It's good to stick to traditions.
Between the two clubs are several players who featured in the 2009 MLS Cup final. Landon Donovan, Omar Gonzalez, A.J. DeLaGarza. Real Salt Lake is still rocking Nick Rimando, Kyle Beckerman, Javier Morales, Nat Borchers, Chris Wingert, and Ned Grabavoy. Speaking of Grabavoy.
The #RSL starting XI vs. L.A.: Rimando; Beltran, Borchers, Schuler, Wingert; Beckerman (c), Mulholland, Gil, Morales; Saborio, Plata.

He starts on the bench for Real Salt Lake as he deals with an illness. Luis Gil starts in his place. Otherwise that's the RSL we've come to know and love like the first carve off the Thanksgiving turkey each fall.
So throw on your favorite scarf, grab a beverage, get comfortable, and let's watch these two Western Conference giants throw their weight around.
