For those keeping score, that's three War of 1812 references over the last two weeks. Who knew America's forgotten war would have so much traction. Anyhow, yesterday the LA Galaxy defeated DC United 3-1 at Home Depot Center, which means it's time to look at how the papers of record recapped this one. The LA Times went with the looking forward angle, while the Daily Breeze looked backwards. The Washington Post is starting to think DC United might be in trouble.
