LA Galaxy Vs. Toronto FC: Galaxy Knocked Out Of Champions League

The LA Galaxy bowed out of CONCACAF Champions League tonight, losing 2-1 to Toronto FC and 4-3 on aggregate. The Galaxy qualified for the 2011-12 CONCACAF Champions League tournament by winning the Supporter's Shield in 2010. It was the 2011 version of the Galaxy that got them this far, but so far the 2012 version of the Galaxy has been a bit disappointing.

Toronto converted both of their on target shots tonight, Ryan Johnson with the head and Nick Soolsma with the foot. The Galaxy had two on target chances tonight, Keane took them both and both were saved by Milos Kocic; one quite brilliantly.

What this game came down to, most of all, was converting opportunities in the final third. Despite talk of being the best offense ever before the season began, this group hasn't proven capable of going toe to toe with a team when it gets hot. The team has to start converting their chances.

I'll have more up later, but for now use this post to get all your thoughts out about this match.
