It's a Homegrown Player contract, so it won't count against the salary budget and sources on twitter pegged it at five years.
CONCACAF announced today the dates for the quaterfinal round of the Champions League tournament. The fourth seeded LA Galaxy will take on C.S. Herediano on Thursday, March 8th at 5:00pm PT in Costa Rica. The Galaxy will then host the second leg of this series at The Home Depot Center on Wednesday, March 14th at 7:00pm PT.
The winner will advance of the series will advance to the semi-finals where they'd face either two-time defending champion Monterrey (who finished seventh in the 2012 Liga MX torneo apterura) or Xelaju of Guatemala.
In case the point hasn't gotten across that the Galaxy Academy is churning out top talent, academy player Paul Arriola is training with Liga MX apertura champions Club Tijuana right now (link).
That SuperDraft thingy is gonna mean less and less over the years.
