Obviously if you informed LA Galaxy striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic of his inclusion to the Audi MLS Team of the Week, even for the third time in succession, he could likely care less. At the moment the team is probably wondering what they have to do to get on the good side of the officials.
Referee grips aside, it is impressive for the big Swede to make the list once again in light of the week’s circumstances. After skipping Friday’s training session with a sore Achilles, Zlatan nevertheless managed to fly to Seattle and record a goal and an assist in a thrilling but losing effort to the Sounders, numbers that elevated Ibra to prestigious company. Zlatan has now recorded 55 goals and assists in his first 50 appearances, one more than the 54 apiece notched by Carlos Vela and Josef Martinez
