The LA Galaxy have added more young depth to the reserves, signing Panamanian international Ernesto Walker on a season long loan from native club C.D. Plaza Amador. The 20-year old midfielder previously made six appearances for the U-20s before earning his first cap this January in a 3-0 friendly loss to the United States in Arizona during Gregg Berhalter’s debut as the new manager.
“Ernesto is a talented, young midfielder who we think can be a strong attacking option for LA Galaxy II,” general manager Dennis te Kloese proclaimed in a statement. “We are excited to add Ernesto to our roster and look forward to his development as a player.”
Additionally 19-year old Panamanian center back Carlos Harvey has also been linked with Los Dos.
