MLS action is back tonight! The LA Galaxy host the Vancouver Whitecaps at 7:00 PM at the StubHub Center.
Goalkeeper: Rowe
After playing 45 minutes against Manchester United Saturday night, Brian Rowe should be ready to play a full 90. It’ll be nice to have him back in between the sticks.
Defense: Cole, Van Damme, Romney, Van Anholt
Expect the debut of Dutch right back Pele Van Anholt tonight. He did not play in the friendly Saturday, which meant Curt Onalfo was trying to keep him as rested as possible.
Who knows what the full status of Daniel Steres is? I’d expect to see Dave Romney starting this one.
Midfield: Pedro, Garcia
Attacking Midfield: Boateng, Dos Santos, Alessandrini
With these three in the attack, the Vancouver Whitecaps defense could have a tough time keep track of all them. Expect the game plan to be to try and stretch Vancouver’s back line apart.
Forward: McBean
Once that defense is stretched wide, passes will fly in to the path of Jack McBean, tonight’s likely starter. If McBean can capitalize on that space available, the youngster should bag a goal or two.
