The attack is still broken.
Missing a few key pieces and succumbing to unfortunate injuries, LA were unable to get anything going as the LA Galaxy and Vancouver Whitecaps drew 0-0 before 25,667 at the StubHub Center, extending the winless streak for LA to six matches.

For the Galaxy, Robbie Keane was still missing after suffering a training knock earlier in the week, while the other Robbie finally returned to the lineup.
Vancouver almost got on the board early when Giles Barnes located a free Erik Hurtado inside the box, but from point-blank range and a gaping target to aim at, Hurtado’s header improbably bounced off the turf and smacked the underside of the crossbar before hitting the turf again and bouncing out for a goal kick.
Hurtado would have another dangerous crack in the 23rd minute, but from a tighter angle he could only manage to chest the ball wide of the post.
It was a miserable first half for LA, who once again couldn’t get it together in attack. To make things worse, Bruce was forced to sub out Steven Gerrard with a hammy pull and Jelle Van Damme with a left knee injury. One of the lone bright spots was Sebastian Lletget, who thrived in the center of midfield.
LA’s best chance came in the 71st when a deflected ball sailed to Alan Gordon, but he pulled the shot wide.
