Former LA Galaxy academy forward Haji Wright has officially joined Bundesliga side Schalke 04, the player confirmed via Twitter on Friday.
Very happy to announce that I have officially signed with @s04. Excited for the future and can't wait to get started. #GlückAuf ⚪️

Prior to joining Schalke, Wright, who turned 18 in March, signed for the New York Cosmos as a 17-year-old after spending three years with the Galaxy.
From the start, the Los Angeles native was subject of plenty of rumors linking him to the Gelsenkirchen-based club, and it was speculated his move to the Cosmos was done to facilitate his move to the Ruhr giants.
Wright is known as one of the brightest young talents in U.S. soccer and he joins fellow national team prospects Christian Pulisic, Will Pulisic, and McKenzie Gaines at Bundesliga clubs.
