The LA Galaxy are back in StubHub Center today as they face off against the Seattle Sounders in a battle between the two crown jewels of the west. Los Angeles will be looking to overturn a series of games during which they've been shut out in two consecutive league matches for the first time since 2012, but can they overpower Seattle's star-studded attack and claim victory in Carson?

What to Watch:
- Today's match up is one between the two most successful teams in the league since 2009. Seattle and LA have combined for 3 MLS Cups, 3 Supporters' Shields, 4 US Open Cup titles, and 9 CONCACAF Champions League appearances.
- While the Galaxy are experiencing high levels of offensive ineptitude, Seattle's Clint Dempsey and Obafemi Martins have combined for six goals and two assists so far, and have scored all of the Sounders' goals this year.
- A healthy Jose Villarreal could make his way back into the LA Galaxy lineup, providing a much needed attacking presence on the left wing. Look for him to try to exploit the space in behind Seattle's Tyrone Mears, who loves to get up the flank from his right fullback spot.
- Can the LA Galaxy back line hold its own in the face of what is arguably the most talented forward partnership in MLS? That may be a personnel question. Who slots in next to Omar Gonzalez: A.J. DeLaGarza or Leonardo?
