The LA Galaxy were able to put one in the back of the net last night to win 1-0 over the Vancouver Whitecaps at the StubHub! Center, but there's much more to see in the highlight package than just that incredible goal. The night was filled was almost chances, as the Galaxy were better defensively than they were on the attack.
In the 40th minute, Landon Donovan misses a huge chance, putting the ball just wide of breaking the MLS All-Time scoring record. You can see the hands go up on the head after he missed it, he knew he should have had it.
Rob Friend came in late and missed a handful of chances, and Keane got another chance late one on one but the ball got just stuck enough under his feet to make the ball sail too high. Keane also had a chance in the eight minute, which went right out Ousted.
With better finishing, it's a match the Galaxy could have won 3-0. Watch the highlights and let me know what you think.
