For some time the LA Galaxy have been the team to play against in Major League Soccer.
This isn’t merely competitive bluster: Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a global superstar and no team drew more fans on the road in 2019 than Guillermo Barros Schelotto’s crew. With this in mind, it’s no surprise the Galaxy will travel to South Florida to battle David Beckham’s Inter Miami CF on Saturday March 14th at their temporary digs in Fort Lauderdale, a match that will be the expansion club’s home opener in their inaugural season.
“Futbol is not a sport, it’s a lifestyle. What we are bringing to South Florida on March 14 is a club that unites fans and visitors from all over the world together for the love of the game,” Inter’s chief business officer Jurgen Mainka declared in a statement. “This is a historic day that our community has waited for, and we look forward to experiencing it together.”
