Saturday night up in Toronto, those in attendance at BMO Field were lucky enough to witness history.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored his 500th goal in the 43nd minute vs. Toronto FC to with a stunning roundhouse kick to launch the soccer god into the rarest of categories. The Swedish target striker is just the 3rd active player in the modern game to record 500 strikes, joining Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
ARE YOU SERIOUS? #Zlatan500 in the most Zlatan way possible. pic.twitter.com/CSvyF9vszv

Ibra bagged goal number 499 in the 15th minute of El Trafico II, chesting the ball down before sticking a leg out and poking a ball past Tyler Miller before it was cleared on the goal-line. Choas ensued as Lee Nyugen furiously attempted to restart the play, but after the play was called back for review replays clearly showed the ball bounced over the line.
Clearly and obviously ZLATAN. pic.twitter.com/EgycUCXZ2x
