The LA Galaxy squeaked out a 2-1 road win over Minnesota United FC.
Giovani dos Santos scored an outrageous goal to open the scoring in the 38th minute.
United’s Christian Ramirez scored both goals in the second half of play. He leveled the match six minutes after the hour mark after Minnesota sustained possession for long periods of time.
Ramirez, the 26-year-old striker from Santa Ana, then gave LA the lead with six minutes left in the match. He turned a Romain Alessandrini free kick into the back of his own net.
