LA Galaxy down again in Week 7 MLS Power Rankings

18th place is a lonely place to be

Last week we talked about the Galaxy facing a real test in a cross-country duel vs. Orlando City inside that sexy new fortress of theirs.

And...the Galaxy failed the test, so down the rankings they go.

Something is still off with this team, with Giovani dos Santos unable to get off the mark so far this season. The right back issue is also not going away as it looks like Robbie Rogers might be out for the season.

18th place seems a bit harsh for a team that’s obviously still transitioning into a cohesive attacking unit, but LA aren’t picking up the points, and that’s what matters

On the bright side, despite another lopsided performance, the Galaxy were a few kicks of the pelota away from a road draw. LA also acquired Jack McInerny, and this Sunday marks the beginning of a three game home stand for the Blue White and Gold.
