Will Robbie Rogers ever return to the field for the LA Galaxy?

It’s six weeks into the season and no new information has surfaced

The silence surrounding Robbie Rogers’ rare nerve problems isn’t quite deafening, but Galaxy fans are worried, and understandably so.

It’s been quite some time since any news has surfaced about the converted right back. Back in December, Rogers suffered from complications following a surgical procedure when an injection in his left foot resulted in nerve damage. Unable to train, Robbie hasn’t seen the field since. When the Galaxy battle Orlando City this Saturday, it will have been four months since Robbie was last healthy.

Additionally, it appears Rogers has shied away from the public spotlight. Robbie was not in attendance at the team’s February Season Ticket Member rally in February, and a reputable Galaxy supporter aptly noted Rogers has recently erased his Galaxy profile from his Twitter bio. (Merely circumstantial evidence for sure, but in light of everything else, its concerning)

Unfortunately, it looks like fans are stuck playing the waiting game for now.
