LA Galaxy rise in Week 6 MLS Power Rankings

Three points at home never hurts

Ok, so LA only rose a measly two places in this week’s MLS power rankings. But you have to start somewhere, and after weeks of free falling in the standings, the Galaxy are taking a first step towards righting the ship.

Next up: A real test this Saturday across the country vs. a resilient Orlando City club who have transformed their brand spanking-new stadium into a formidable home-field advantage.

Nathan Smith was also excellent, and you can’t put a price on a healthy Gyasi Zardes returning to the lineup.

FC Dallas is still on top of the standings followed by the Portland Timbers, and we don’t expect those two to drop in form anytime soon. Toronto still occupies the 3rd place slot, and check out “expansion” side Atlanta United FC in 4th.
