The LA Galaxy U-18 team will participate in the Dallas Cup international youth soccer tournament for the second straight year. The Dallas Cup will take place April 13-April 20, 2014. The tournament has seen current and former Galaxy players participate, as well as international stars such as Wayne Rooney and Chicharito during it's 35-year history.

The Galaxy's U-18s lost 2-1 to eventual tournament champion Fulham F.C. in the group stage last year. The Galaxy U-18s finished third in their group in 2013 with a record of 1-2-0. The team defeated German side Eintracht Frankfurt, 2-1 and lost to Fulham (1-2) and Coritiba FC from Brazil (2-3) last March.

The list of teams for this year's edition is not yet finalized but will include Fulham F.C., C.D. Guadalajara, Eintracht Frankfurt, and Swedish side IF Brommapojkarna. According to the Dallas Cup website, friendlies will be arranged for teams which do not make the knockout round so that teams are guaranteed three games and possibly up to five matches.
