LA Galaxy bench: Rowe; Leonardo, DeLaGarza; Courtois, Jimenez, Garcia; Villarreal
Bruce Arena has to go with a rookie on the back line, with Kofi Opare keeping his spot despite A.J. DeLaGarza slowly returning from injury. The Jimenez/Stephens spot was not so secure with Robbie Rogers almost instantly winning it back. Dunivant also returns as soon as he's able; the left back returned to full practice on Thursday.
Real Salt Lake Starting XI (4-2-3-1): Rimando, Beltran, Schuler, Borchers, Wingert; Alvarez, Beckerman; Grabavoy, Morales, Gil; Saborio
It's be interesting to see how RSL's formation plays in real time. They're going empty bucket with Alvarez and Beckerman. With the Galaxy's heart and soul located in a suddenly empty midfield, it'll be interesting to see if RSL really leaves them with that much space to create.
It's the fourth time this season RSL has gone away from the diamond in the middle. Could be risky.
