The injury report has been updated, and instead of David Beckham coming off, Christian Wilhelmsson has been added. Beckham continues to rehab through a left ankle injury though he's said he wants to be available for selection on Sunday. Christian Wilhelmsson has been added as questionable with a left calf strain.
According to LA Galaxy Insider Adam Serrano, Wilhelmsson has missed the last two Galaxy training sessions, and received treatment during Friday's session. Arena told reporters Wilhelmsson will be "fine", but it does seem that Wilhelmsson's availability is in some doubt.
Trying to imagine a Galaxy lineup is a bit murkier now, fans could see a midfield of Juninho-Sarvas-Magee-Jimenez if Arena wants to keep the Donovan-Keane partnership in tact. Or he could go a different direction if Buddle 90 minute fit, and put Donovan back in the midfield.
One of those lineups would trigger a certain blogger's acid reflux, and the good one with the Donovan-Keane partnership in tact would be a serviceable lineup calling on capable players to step up and hold the fort. Hopefully one of Beckham or Wilhelmsson will be available in Colorado making all this moot.
