LA Galaxy match Sunday will be first on Time Warner Sportsnet

This Sunday's LA Galaxy game against the San Jose Earthquakes will be the club's first on the new Time Warner Sportsnet channel. Live pre-game programming will begin at 3:30 PDT with Access SportsNet: Galaxy and then the game telecast begins at 4:00 PDT.

Time Warner has been producing the Galaxy broadcasts on KDOC, so there shouldn't be much of a change there. Mark Rogondino will continue to do play by play while Cobi Jones will add color commentary. Andy Adler will be hosting the studio show before the match, with former Galaxy coach Steve Sampson joining her.

The issue for LA area fans is going to be access to Time Warner Sportsnet. The brass at Time Warner claim they are in deep negotiations with all the major providers, but as of now only Time Warner customers will be able to watch the match in English tomorrow. The match will be broadcast nationally in Spanish on Galavision, so that is an option, but it's an option that means the Galaxy match won't be available for streaming on MLS Live.
