Chicharito and Jonathan dos Santos are starting for the Galaxy!
RSL are fielding a strong XI for them.
LA dropped a 2-0 decision to the Colorado Rapids at home on Saturday. It was a performance that was more concerning than the result, frankly, with a late red card sinking Galaxy hopes of a turnaround and a listless performance all around. Are they getting tired with two subpar performances, or is this just a blip?
They’ll be facing an RSL team that has been all over the place in this segment of the season, posting a dominant win over LAFC but losing badly to their local rival, the Rapids. Also, their owner is a racist who in recent weeks has been forced to sell the team — but don’t hold that against the players, they confronted him to help make a change.
So what will happen in this one? I honestly have no idea. Maybe that’ll be good for the Galaxy, maybe it won’t. Maybe it’ll be a snoozefest, but hopefully not. Let’s tune in together to find out, shall we?
According to DraftKings Sportsbook, as of Wednesday afternoon, LA are (+180) while RSL are (+123). The odds of a draw are also (+290), so the bookmakers think this is a close call with the home side getting a slight advantage.
How to Watch:
Wednesday’s match between LA and RSL will be televised locally on Spectrum SportsNet and in the rest of the country on ESPN+. The broadcast is scheduled to start at 6:30 pm PT with kickoff to follow.
