Sigh.
All good things must come to an end. Sadly after six great years with the club including a MLS Cup 2014 triumph, the hilariously lovable and always cool Baggio Husidic will no longer be plying his trade in Los Angeles.
The 31-year old officially announced his retirement from professional soccer this afternoon.
“I feel extremely fortunate to have been able to spend the last 10 years of my life playing this game that I love,” Husidic said in a statement. “I couldn’t have predicted what my career would have looked like, but I am proud and grateful for everything I have been able to experience through soccer.”

“Having the opportunity to represent three fantastic clubs was very special. However, wearing the crest of the LA Galaxy, as well as being part of an MLS Cup winning side in 2014 was something I could have only dreamed of. Thanks to my coaches, my teammates, the front office and the fans for making this club feel like home for the past five years. I will cherish all of the amazing friendships forever. My family and I will forever be supporters of this great club.”
