Sigh. We miss Robbie Keane. Long after his professional career has ended, the LA Galaxy legend is still putting away finishes with impressive dexterity.
The Republic of Ireland assistant manager scored a ridiculously sublime goal to open Tottenham’s new billion dollar stadium in style. We’re talking the real thing here, not one of those “Hey that’s nice his legs still work hopefully he doesn’t break a hip” moments.
Participating in a Tottenham Hotspur vs. Inter Milan Legends game, the former striker timed his run well to ghost behind the back four, giving him the time and space to backpedal before carefully dinking a backwards shot that looped over the goalkeeper and into the net.

All that was left to do for Keano? Perform his trademark cartwheel celebration, and he duly obliged to the delight of the happy supporters.
Strikers come and go, but there will never be another Robbie Keane.
