This afternoon the club revealed Zlatan Ibrahimovic will return to full training next week. The big Swede has not been seen on the practice field since a tentative opening day appearance vs. the Chicago Fire, missing the last two matches with an Achilles issue.
Guillermo Barros Schelotto expects Zlatan to return on Tuesday, with the LA Galaxy boss noting he could afford to give 37-year old additional rest with the international break after Ibra was originally scheduled to return this week.
#LAGalaxy head coach Guille Schelotto stated at training that team gave Zlatan extra week to get to 100%. Will train on Tuesday ahead of 3/31. https://t.co/5oSBWcBN2e

Technically Zlatan has been inside the gym this week, but it’s unclear whether Ibra participated in a normal routine or has been resting his Achilles. (There never was an official diagnosis on the injury, just the confirmation that his Achilles was tweaked)
In other news Romain Alessandrini should return to full training on Friday while Juninho has been steadily progressing and could be available by the 31st.
We’ll keep you updated on the trio’s progress.
