Watch: Zlatan Ibrahimovic appears on Jimmy Kimmel Live

As it turns out, it only took Zlatan Ibrahimovic three weeks to conquer America.

After announcing a new sponsorship with Visa earlier in the day, the charismatic LA Galaxy player headed to Hollywood, appearing last night on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live with guests Ll Cool J and Portugal the Man.

I’m going to tell you right now: Zlatan did not disappoint. The target striker rose to the occasion, matching his witty counter-part with humor and wit throughout the segment. It’s not easy to genuinely entertain Jimmy Kimmel, but the two of them were obviously having a blast.

At one point Kimmel manages to get some World Cup related news out of Ibra, forcing Zlatan to declare he was going to be in Russia this summer. As Ibra said when Jimmy inquired whether Zlatan would be wearing soccer shoes, ““A World Cup without me wouldn’t be a World Cup”.
